What is Lula Avocado Oil?
Lula is a 100% pure, cold-pressed Codex grade Avocado Oil. Its naturally high smoke point, healthy fats and full load of antioxidants make it the easiest way to cook healthier at home.
How do I use Lula Avocado Oil?
You can use Lula for all of your cooking needs. We like to use Lula to sear, bake, fry or saute and then finish the dish with a bit of olive oil.
Is Lula better than olive oil?
Lula Avocado Oil should be used alongside your favorite olive oil. Lula’s smoke point and neutral flavor make it more versatile and stable for cooking with heat while olive oil can be used to finish dishes and add flavor after cooking or when dressing.
Where is Lula made?
Lula is sourced, pressed, and bottled in Spain from premium Codex grade avocados
Is Lula cold-pressed?
Yes, Lula is cold-pressed.
What’s the smoke point of Lula?
Lula has a smoke point of more than 500°F. The higher smoke point makes it ideal for searing, roasting, baking, and frying which prevents the oil from degrading and compromising nutrition. While smoke point can vary slightly harvest to harvest, Lula is always ready to handle high heat.
What does it taste like?
Lula Avocado Oil has a subtle taste. People often describe it as silky. You can use it in place of other cooking oils without changing the taste of your recipe. Our oil is among the most stable cooking oils and won’t change flavor as you turn up the heat.
How long does Lula last?
Unopened bottles last up to 36 months. Once opened, we recommend using within 8-10 months for peak freshness.
Does Lula need to be refrigerated?
No. Store Lula in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. No need to refrigerate after opening.
Is Lula organic?
We source our avocados from local farms in Spain who proudly uphold the highest standard of farming practices and are working on USDA certification. As you may know, this process is laborious and costly, and thus we hope to help our farmers receive this certification soon. We are always Non-GMO certified and bottle certified allergen and gluten free facilities.
Is it keto, paleo, or Whole30-friendly?
Yes, Lula is 100% keto, paleo, Whole30, and vegan-friendly.
Is Lula non-GMO and gluten-free? How about Kosher?
Yes. Lula contains zero additives, GMOs, or gluten — just pure avocado oil. It is also Kosher certified and Codex Grade but Lula Avocado Oil does not exclusively use lula avocados.
What does CODEX certified mean?
Codex certification means our oil upholds the highest global food standard set by the UN's Food and Agriculture Organization and World Health Organization. We live up to a higher purity benchmark than the industry currently demands, defining the exact fatty acid and sterol composition unique to unadulterated avocado oil. When we say Lula is CODEX grade certified, it means every bottle is tested against that international standard and verified to be exactly what it claims: cold-pressed, 100% pure avocado oil from Spain, with nothing else blended in.

Is your packaging recyclable?
Yes. Lula bottles and caps are 100% recyclable.
Do you sell Lula in glass bottles?
Not yet. While we’re excited to offer glass bottles soon our initial focus was on the quality of the oil.

How long will my order take to arrive?
Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days and arrive within 3–7 days depending on location.
Do you offer free shipping?
We offer free U.S. shipping on orders over $75.
Can I track my order?
Yes, once your order ships you’ll receive a tracking link via email.
Do you offer returns or exchanges?
Unfortunately, we are unable to accept returns given Lula is a perishable food product. However, we will always do what we can to fix any problems with your order. Just email us at info@lulaoil.com.
If your Lula Avocado Oil arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at info@lulaoil.com with your order number and a photo of the issue so we can send you a replacement.
