1) What do you love most about your kitchen?

Ooo, I love the proximity between the fridge and sink and oven. The spacing means you don't have to walk all over while cooking. It's all about the flow in the kitchen and in life.

And my warming drawers. They are the best thing in this whole kitchen.

2) Who taught you how to cook?

I always loved cooking. I lived on my own early in life, so I started really getting into it then because I had to cook for myself.

Also, I was a vegan for a long time - back when it wasn't very popular so there were very few places that did a vegan meal. The best was Nowhere cafe, which was the original Erewhon Grocer. It was too expensive for us so we would make these tofu pies and trade with them payment for our meal.

3) What are your must-have pantry items?

Fruits and veggies to make green juice.
And canned tuna. I feel like if I don't have that I might starve.

4) Do you cook to music?

Always - has to be Marvin Gaye Pandora radio, or recently Olivia Dean radio. For me, it's the best way to listen and also discover.

5) How do you use Lula in your kitchen?

I've used it for everything since I first tried it. It's silky. It got me to stop using grape-seed oil.

6) What is your perfect night in?

Super early dinner that I cook for a friend and a great movie. Preferably anything Audrey Hepburn or Doris Day. If I had to choose one it would be Funny Face.
